Applications for disposing expired liquid products are processed by the WMA to ensure that prior to disposal into our wastewater system, products are sufficiently diluted so as to comply with the limits set under the Fourth Schedule of the Regulations 2019. The following procedures need to be followed:
- Request for disposal of expired products should be submitted to the Authority in writing, with the description of the nature of the expired products and the net volume to be disposed.
- Conditions for disposal as set by the WMA should be complied with.
- General fees for laboratory tests/disposal supervision are applicable.
