The WMA is a member of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Preliminary Environmental Report (PER) and the EIA/ PER Post-Monitoring Committees under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Sustainable Development, Disaster and Beach Management.
For an EIA or a PER, the WMA submits its views to the above mentioned Ministry.
