A taking over ceremony was held on Thursday 25 October 2018 at Grand River North West(GRNW) Pumping Station for the Pailles Guibies Sewerage Project Stage 1. The Pumping station was inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy & Public Utilities, Hon I L Collendavelloo, GCSK, SC in the presence of the Minister of Social Integrity & Economic Empowerment, Hon M R Alain Wong, MSK, J Claude Barbier Member of the National Assembly, the Chairman – Mr Suleiman Hansrod, Board members of the WMA Board and other distinguished guests.
The GRNW pumping station will cater for around 3000 house connections in the region of Pailles Guibies.
